Marco Rubio Holds Grassroots Rally in Wakulla County

PANACEA, FLA. — Marco Rubio held a campaign rally today in Wakulla County with grassroots supporters. Rubio spoke to the crowd about what’s at stake in this election, all he’s gotten done for Florida in the U.S. Senate, and how important it is to elect Republicans up and down the ballot in November.

“I know, like you do, that we live in the greatest country in the history of the world. We also happen to live in the greatest state in the greatest country. And in America, we have this movement on the far-left that has overtaken one of our two major political parties. And if we don’t beat these people, if we don’t stop them, they’ll destroy this country,” said Marco Rubio.

“Honestly, it doesn’t matter what my opponent, Val Demings, believes in because she’s going to vote with whatever they tell her to do,” Rubio warned. “I see it every day…These Democrats in Washington that vote right down the line. And I mean right down the line on every crazy idea that comes from the far-left and then they go back home and tell everybody, ‘I’m a moderate.’”

“Some of the people that are supporting this stuff don’t believe it, don’t know it, don’t recognize it. I do because I was raised by and around people who lost their country. I’m not going to lose ours. Not without a fight. That’s what this election is about.”

“Thank you for being here today. I’m asking you to go out and vote and get people to vote so we can win and we can stop bad things from happening…and we can save this country so our children inherit what we’ve inherited: the greatest country in the history of the world,” Rubio concluded.
